This is another area which i am really passionate about. 5/6 years ago, when i was just a young boy in an IT class, and we had to create a website in microsoft word, from that point all i have wanted to do is create websites, firstly with microsoft word, but quickly moving to Frontpage within months, and then dreamweaver one year later, and two years after that i was fully coding and design websites in xHTML and CSS. The later stage was mostly help by some very good members at a web design community know as Designers Block. Some of the guys/girls there are truely amazing and a look up to them, and there are alot of people in my position, it is a taking and giving community, and a great place for help.
I am about to start a course at Plymouth uni to take my web design to a different level. i have been working on and off as a free lancer whilst studying at school. and i would really love to do it as a job. I feel that it is important to do something you enjoy as a proffesion, and this is something i deffinatly enjoy
I am one for standards, and i really do try to follow them as much as possible, i also thing is important for browsers to also follow standards, and hence my dislike for IE in ways, but as it is the market leader in browsers it is still one of the most important to code for. However there are many other browsers out there which are alot better and should be looked at if someone is having troubles using websites that are proffesionaly designed.
